As with many materials used in the construction of buildings, the prices for steel have been dropping steadily for the past few months.  We expect this trend to continue through the spring and then indications are that prices will start to firm up this summer.

As supplies/inventories start to diminish through the summer due to reduced capacity of the mills, we will start to see the prices tick back up.  There is a window of opportunity between now and sometime this summer to take your material at a price below 2008 pricing.  This unique timing will allow not only for a cost savings but also puts you into a position to possibly avoid the next series of price increases.
