Tech-Fast
Self Storage Buildings employee, Peter Handford receives 2004
Employee of the Year Award
Peter Handford
has won the 2004 Employee of the Year Award. Peter received his
award and a special gift from Dave Cook, CEO and Mark Duncan,
President, at a recent company meeting.
As a Construction
Coordinator for Tech-Fast, Peter's primary goal is to get
self-storage projects built on time and within budget. He works
closely with Tech-Fast's sales team, designers, engineers and
construction crews to maximize the potential of each project. He
also works with general contractors, subcontractors, erectors, and
suppliers to make sure customers get what they want, when they want
it.
Peter utilizes
his 12 years of field construction and erection experience in the
self-storage industry to supervise the labor certification program,
which trains erection crews not only on quality control issues, but
also on the fundamentals of running a business. By working closely
with the erection crews, Peter is able to ensure a consistently high
level of quality in all projects. As Peter says, "My goal is to be
able to go to any facility built by Tech-Fast and see the same high
quality building no matter where in the country the facility is
located or what erection crew was used."
At Tech-Fast, we
set high standards and strive for excellence in everything we do.
The Employee of the Year Award is the highest level of achievement
in the system of rewards and bonuses established to recognize
employees who consistently achieve or exceed those standards. Peter
was selected from several nominations submitted to the company's
Employee Recognition Committee, which based their selection on
standards of excellence, commitment to customer service, positive
attitude, and contributions to the company.
Congratulations
from all of us at Tech-Fast, Peter, and thanks for a job well done.
